WHY BUILD A CHAIR? (when there already are so many!)
Many of us desire to slow down, to find an inner sense of peace and solitude.
For me this starts in our homes, our daily lives, perhaps also our work places!
Therefore I have built a chair.
The name of the chair is “VÄSENTLIG”, which means essential as well as something with a soul, and it represents what is important to me in life.
I would like to share this and give you a “room”, or a “space”, where one can reflect and find what is important.
Does it have to be made by hand?
I believe that craft makes our homes more human and in a handmade piece we can sense the time and care the maker has put into it. Small scale manufacturing works as well!
